Day-by-day outline

  1. Day 1

    Dehradun → Sankri

    Long drive to the base village of Sankri (1,950 m).

  2. Day 2

    Sankri → Juda Ka Talab

    Trek through pine forest to the frozen lake campsite (2,700 m).

  3. Day 3

    Juda Ka Talab → Kedarkantha Base

    Climb to the base camp (3,400 m) with summit views.

  4. Day 4

    Summit day

    Pre-dawn summit push to 3,800 m, descend to Hargaon.

  5. Day 5

    Hargaon → Sankri

    Trek down to Sankri.

  6. Day 6

    Return Dehradun

    Drive back to Dehradun.
