Built inside a working travel agency — not a boardroom.
Tripaay didn't start as a software idea. It started as a problem we lived every single Char Dham season at Junegiri Yatra, our Himalayan pilgrimage and trek agency.
Every year the same thing: the Dham dates get announced, the WhatsApp enquiries pour in, and for three months we're drowning. Quoting in Word. Tracking leads in Excel. Sending Razorpay links by hand. Filing GST at the last minute with a frustrated CA. We were spending more time on admin than with the customers and the mountains we got into this business for.
We looked for software built for us — for an Indian travel agency that runs on WhatsApp, sells Yatras and treks, and has to get GST right. The generic CRMs (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce) were built for software sales teams in San Francisco, not for an agency in the Himalayas. None of them knew what a Char Dham itinerary was, or how CGST and SGST split on a tour package.
So we built it ourselves. Tripaay is the tool we wished existed: capture every WhatsApp enquiry, draft a branded proposal in minutes with AI, manage advance and balance, and generate a GST-compliant invoice in two clicks. Junegiri Yatra runs on it. Now we're opening it up to every Indian travel agency that's tired of the WhatsApp-and-Excel grind.
